Pretty decent shopping experience. Expensive, but good sales and clearance prices. Some other quirks. No seating (like most stores though), no bathroom to use, most annoyingly, no shopping carts or baskets. Another frustration I encountered, was that when I went to make a payment towards the in store credit card, they can't even tell me the balance owed on my card. Additionally, I discovered that in searching for a shirt my size from the discount rack in an alternate color, and unable to find one, I find another whole section of the very same shirts in a completely different part of the store, because logic. If their weirdness doesn't bother you too much, it's not a bad place to shop.
Don't expect staff to walk up to you and help you. They're too self-absorbed in their own conversations. No wonder stores are closing. I get better online...
Wish there more brick and mortar stores to visit. There are none close to me anymore. I must travel 60 minutes plus to find a store.
I just home from Penny's. OMG I got so many things. I got 4 shirts, 2 leggings and a good pair of gloves. The total was 126.00 and I paid just 63.00. awesome
I like JC Penny quite a bit. They have a lot of great clothing for adults of all shapes and sizes. They offer petite as well as plus sized clothing and most of their sizes run true. The workers in my experiences have always been friendly and helpful. When they run sales the sales are pretty decent. Even when they don't the prices are spot on.
